Why this card is great for Amazon purchases

Capital One Venture cardholders earn two Capital One miles per dollar spent on all purchases (including at Amazon). Many readers love the Capital One Venture card because the miles you earn are super easy to use. You can just pay for travel with the card, including airfare, hotel stays, car rentals, Airbnb rentals, and much more. Then, redeem miles to offset the purchase.

Each mile is worth one cent toward travel and there’s no minimum redemption increment when redeeming miles, unless you’re using miles to partially pay for a travel purchase. In that case, the minimum is 2,500 miles ($25). After you use your card to pay for a travel purchase, you have 90 days to erase it using your miles.

And if you want to get more bang for you buck, you can transfer Capital One miles to several airline or hotel travel partners.

Capital One Spark Cash cardholders earn unlimited 2% cash back per dollar spent. It doesn’t get any simpler than that. The nice thing about earning cash back is you can put your rewards toward any expense. This is useful because when you’re traveling because there are lots of expenses that don’t qualify as travel. This is a business credit card, so you will need to be able to qualify for business cards in order to open it.

The Amex Blue Business Plus has no annual fee (see rates and fees) card earns 2x Amex Membership Rewards points on all purchases, on up to $50,000 spent each calendar year (then 1x).

Amex Membership Rewards points are extremely useful for folks looking to save money on travel. You can transfer points directly to any of Amex’s transfer partners (both airline and hotel) to book award travel. For example, you can transfer Amex Membership Rewards points to Delta, JetBlue, and others to book award flights.

It’s handy to be able to transfer Amex Membership Rewards points to JetBlue because the airline has no blackout dates. So it’s really simple to save money on flights when you’re flying to destinations like New York or Orlando.

Ink Business Unlimited℠ Credit Card

For example, when you can pool the points earned with your Ink Business Unlimited card onto the Chase Sapphire Reserve® card and then your Chase Ultimate Rewards points are worth 1.5 cents each toward travel booked through the Chase Travel Portal.

That means you’d essentially be earning 2.25% back in travel rewards on every purchase with the Ink Business Unlimited.

If you’re a big Amazon and Whole Foods shopper, the cash back can really add up.
