PS5 restock updates – all the latest from Argos, Amazon, Currys and more

If you've been trying to snap up a Playstation 5 then you’ll surely be aware of how difficult it is to find a retailer that has the consoles in stock.

Two versions of Sony's PS5 were released in the UK and Europe on November 19th, but they sold out in record time.

But recent reports online suggest that Argos now has PlayStations in warehouses, waiting to hit stores and online.

This is according to the @UKPS5Notify twitter account, which wrote last week: "I know from the logistics team that Argos currently has stock, just waiting for processing."

Argos' PS5 page currently reads: "PlayStation 5 is currently unavailable. We're working hard to make this available as soon as possible."

On January 20, thousands of gamers queued to get on Curry's website as the retail giant put Playstation 5 consoles back on sale.

The huge demand caused technical issues and large queues with as many as 150,000 people waiting to get access to the site. Currys is now completely sold out of the PS5s.

The console also crashed the websites of GAME, Tesco and John Lewis when it first launched in November.

The PS5 is expected to go on sale once again

The full PS5 is priced at £449, while a Digital Edition without a disc tray will set you back £359.

Here's a list of the retailers we're hoping will restock the consoles:

  • Argos – more stock coming soon
  • Currys – more stock coming soon
  • Amazon – more stock coming soon
  • John Lewis – more stock coming soon
  • Game – more stock coming soon
  • Asda – more stock coming soon
  • Very – more stock coming soon
