When it came to fall 2019 shoe trends, my #1 choice faced quite the fierce competitive set. From square-toe shoes that feel very of-the-moment to snake and mock croc styles which are always worth the investment, I found myself with more favorites than in most seasons, but in the end, one stood out among the rest.

Of course, it’s the embellished heel, which I’ve actually sung the praises of before, and thus love even more because it’s a returning trend I already own. However, even if I didn’t, can one really argue with the fact that embellished heels are not only beautiful to look at but fun as well? As someone who has relatively simple day-to-day style and pretty much lives in basics, I love the fact that a bejeweled shoe can turn any outfit of my choosing from boring to breath-taking in an instant. Seemingly, some of my favorite designers are on the same page.
