CISI Financial Planning Conference heads to Liverpool

CISI Financial Planning Conference 2022

The CISI’s annual Financial Planning Conference, one of the biggest events in the Financial Planning calendar, will take place this year on 6 October in Liverpool.

The main conference will take place at the Grade 1 listed Merseyside Maritime Museum, Royal Albert Dock and include more than 20 expert presenters, 17 sessions and three content streams.

Some 500 Financial Planners are expected to attend.

A full day’s CPD will take place between 9.30am and 5.30pm and conference and dinner package tickets cost £445 for members and £472 for non-members.

The event will be hosted by journalist and BBC Radio Merseyside broadcaster Ngunan Adamu.

The conference will be followed by a black tie gala featuring The Financial Planning Awards 2022 and live music. The venue for the evening event is Liverpool’s neoclassical Grade 1 listed building, St George’s Hall.

The conference programme just been announced and new for this year is the tech hub with live demonstrations.

Conference speakers include:

  • Emily Shepperd, chief operating officer and executive director, authorisations FCA: 'The impact of transformation at the FCA for you, your clients and business.'
  • Makala Green, CEO, Green Wealth Planning: 'Young, high earners: working with influencers, sports and entertainment professionals.'
  • Julian Gilbert CFP Chartered MCSI, CEO, Wealth Matters: 'There’s not a lot out there: growing your team from within.'
  • George King IV, Senior Wealth Manager, MASECO: 'To B or not to B (Corp).'

Other speakers include Abraham Okusanya CFP Chartered MCSI, Tim Harford, LJ Rich and Rebecca Aldridge CFP MCSI.
